The cottage provided lots of space and was extremely clean. The view of the countryside and horses from every window was lovely. The location was great, with two pubs, a restaurant, a shop, and a chippy all within walking distance. It was also convenient to have a self-service breakfast in the well-equipped kitchen.
There were a few small issues, such as a sticky back door lock and some wear and tear to the decor. It would have been nice to have some oil in the cupboard and a scrub for the slippery decking.

The cottage is located in a beautiful and tranquil setting, with lovely views of nature. The rooms are tastefully decorated with nature-themed soft furnishings, giving a cozy and homely feel. There is a useful utility room and a decked area to enjoy the picturesque surroundings. The cottage is well-equipped with a slo-cooker and basic amenities like tea bags and instant coffee sachets.
The temperature regulation in the cottage can be challenging, with a tendency for it to be cold upstairs and hot downstairs. The lack of blackout linings in the bedroom may result in early morning light disturbance.

We absolutely loved our stay at Yew Tree Cottage! The location was perfect, with breathtaking views of fields and horses as our neighbors. The cottage itself was well-equipped, cozy, and much larger than it appeared from the outside. It had everything we needed, including a lifesaving washing machine. We couldn't have asked for more and would definitely recommend this wonderful property. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

We had a lovely stay at a charming cottage in a picturesque village. The nature-themed rooms added a unique touch, and we enjoyed the beautiful views from the decked area. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding countryside. The cottage was well-equipped with everything we needed, including a useful slo-cooker. The local pubs and shops were within a short walk, making it convenient for dining out or picking up essentials.
Although the cottage lacked blackout linings in the bedroom, the overall experience was not negatively impacted. It would have been helpful to be informed in advance about the window cleaners' visit, but it was only a minor inconvenience.

The location of the cottage was fantastic, nestled in the beautiful countryside with stunning views from every window. It was so peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. the cottage itself was absolutely gorgeous with its quirky beams and charming character. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including all the necessary amenities.
The back door lock was a bit stiff and could have been easier to use. We also noticed some wear and tear to the decor, and the rugs in the bedroom and lounge looked a little worn.

The cottage was absolutely stunning inside, even better than the pictures! It had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere with beautiful beams and fireplaces. the location was perfect, nestled near the River Derwent with horses in the fields to wake up to. It was so peaceful and ideal for exploring the local area. the cottage had all the modern conveniences we needed, like a dishwasher, Wifi, and TVs in the bedrooms and sitting room.
Although everything was amazing, there were a couple of small things that could be improved. An additional signpost leading to the cottage would have been helpful, as we struggled to find it.
